It was a lot of full CG Environments work, simulations, paint and heavy compositing that we delivered in quite a short turn around time. In some instances we also had freedom in building the final look development of the environments which made us very proud given the trust.
The Asura project was a deep dive into high-end post-production and digital craftsmanship, bringing surreal and mythological themes to life through photoreal 3D and cinematic composition.
Live-action plates were tracked with high precision to extract accurate camera movement and lens data. This enabled CG elements to be composited with proper parallax, perspective, and scale essential for realism and spatial coherence.
Post-production was where everything came together. Rendered CG passes were composited into the original footage, with attention to blending edges, matching color tones, and introducing atmospheric effects like depth fog, light scatter, and motion blur. Final color grading unified the overall tone and enhanced the cinematic look, reinforcing the visual narrative and emotional impact.
